Over 500 young people in Uasin Gishu County might soon directly benefit from a support drive aimed at helping them own properties.
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi hinted at the drive during a meeting with leaders of the Kijana na Keja initiative.
The initiative empowers youth to own homes.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim was also present during the meeting.

According to Sudi, the planned drive will give the youth real path to financial stability.
“Together with Uasin Gishu Governor H.E. Jonathan Chelilim Bii, I held a consultative meeting with leaders of Kijana na Keja a transformative initiative empowering youth to own homes,” Sudi said in a post on his Facebook page.
“Our discussion centered on launching a support drive that will directly impact over 500 youth, giving them a real pathway to stability and financial security through property ownership,” he added.
Earlier Governor Bii, Rift Valley MP Joseph Wainaina, Speakers of the Embu and Uasin Gishu County Assemblies, and MCAs from both counties paid a courtesy call to Sudi’s Kapseret home.

“We met to discuss matters of national importance, including development issues such as infrastructure, youth empowerment, and strengthening devolution,” he said.
The teams later toured his ultra-modern dairy farm.
