Two leading Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidates Jonathan Bii Chelilim alias Koti Moja and Zedekiah Bundotich Buzeki will be holding their final rallies in Eldoret this Saturday.
With the general election expected to be held on August 9, 2022, the last day a candidate can hold a campaign is this Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Both Koti Moja and Buzeki have had rigorous campaigns that will be ending this Saturday in their final rallies all within the town.

John Barorot.While Koti Moja, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate is expected to hold his final rally at the famous Silver Line Hotel, Buzeki, an independent candidate will be at the Eldoret Sports Club.
With both venues being around Eldoret town, it will be a battle of who between the two will attract a larger crowd.
The Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat has attracted three candidates, but many believe it will be a two-horse race between Koti Moja and Buzeki.
Mwalimu William Kirwa is the other candidate in the race, vying on a United Democratic Movement (UDM) ticket under the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition.
A final opinion poll that was commissioned by the National Media Group, released on August 3, 2022, had placed the UDA candidate ahead with 44 per cent popularity.

Buzeki polled 29 per cent in popularity.
Uasin Gishu County has 506,138 registered voters spread across six constituencies that will be participating in the general election on Tuesday.
Turbo Constituency has the highest number of voters at 120,202, followed by Soy with 92,702 voters.
Kesses Constituency has 77,942 voters while Moiben has 77,877 votes.
Ainabkoi Constituency has the lowest number of voters within Uasin Gishu County with 62,606 votes, followed by Kapseret (74,809 voters).
