The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened applications for the September 2026 Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) intake.
KMTC on Monday, August 31, 2026, said the application is for those who missed the earlier window, with only selected courses available. KUCCPS had opened a portal for KMTC September intake applications, and the deadline was August 11, 2026.
“Applications are open again! KUCCPS has reopened applications for selected KMTC courses with available vacancies for the September 2026 intake. If you missed the earlier application window, this is another opportunity to begin your journey towards a career in healthcare,” KMTC said in a post on its verified social media pages.
Available courses for KMTC September 2026 intake
KMTC also shared a link detailing the 22 courses that are available for students who might have missed out on earlier applications.
The courses are:

- Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician
- Certificate in Health Insurance Management
- Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology
- Certificate in Mortuary Science
- Certificate in Nutrition & Dietetics
- Certificate in Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine
- Certificate in Public Health
- Diploma in Community Health
- Diploma in Health Counselling
- Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology
- Diploma in Medical Engineering
- Diploma in Laboratory Sciences
- Diploma in Medical Social Work
- Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Diploma in Optometry
- Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology
