The Uasin Gishu County Assembly will soon have new nominated members. This is after the Court of Appeal upheld a decision by an Eldoret Magistrate’s Court to declare the nomination of 9 members null and void.
A ruling issued on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, means the assembly will now have at least 9 new nominated members.
The ruling affected individuals nominated by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
