Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has now made it public that he is eyeing the Uasin Gishu Governor’s seat.

Sudi, serving as an MP for a third term had been rumoured to be eyeing the county’s top seat.

He further asked Citizen Services Principal Secretary Prof Julius Bitok not to vie for the governor’s seat in 2027, and instead allow Governor Jonathan Bii to finish his second term.

We have agreed that we will allow Koti Moja (Governor Bii) to go for a second term in 2027 then we will push that Bitok is made a Cabinet Secretary,” Sudi said.

Then after that I will also be there. Ama mnafikiria mimi ni wa kupangia watu,” he added.

In addition, the Kapseret MP warned against being shortchanged in the gubernatorial race when his time comes.

Na msijaribu kusimama hiyo wakati, bure mimi ntawanyorisha,” the vocal MP said.
