Updated List of Uasin Gishu MCAs in 2026

Uasin Gishu County has 44 Members of County Assembly, 30 of whom are elected, while 14 are nominated.

Since the 2022 General Election, there have been several changes to the Uasin Gishu MCAs, especially those initially nominated.

The court invalidated the original list of the nominated MCAs after a petition over the exclusion of persons with disabilities.

There has also been a change in one elected MCA seat after Tembelio’s Evans Kapkea was picked by Governor Jonathan Bii to be his deputy.

Kapkea replaced Eng John Barorot, who resigned in 2024.
