The initiative will benefit 9,423 youth from Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Trans-Nzoia, Turkana, and West Pokot counties.

Speaking at the event at the Eldoret Sports Club, the President said the programme is one of the government’s efforts to grow the businesses of young people across the country.

Elgeyo Marakwet Deputy Governor Prof Grace Cheserek said that by leveraging on the government programs, youths in the county can acquire skills, access job opportunities, and develop their entrepreneurial capabilities.
