Tusker and Kenya Police Set Up Mozzart Bet Cup Final After Penalty Shootout At Nyayo

The Mozzart Bet Cup semi-finals delivered a tense, cagey afternoon of football at Nyayo Stadium, with both matches ending goalless after regulation time and ultimately being decided from the penalty spot.

In the opening semi-final, Tusker FC faced off against KCB FC in a tightly contested affair that offered few clear-cut chances. With neither side able to break the deadlock after 90 minutes, the match headed to penalties. Tusker held their nerve in the shootout, edging KCB 4-3 to book their place in the final.

The second semi-final between Kenya Police FC and Bandari FC followed a similar script, as both sides cancelled each other out in a disciplined 0-0 draw. Kenya Police, however, showed composure in the decisive moment, converting their penalties to win 5-3 and secure their spot in the final.

Both matches highlighted the fine margins of knockout football, with goalkeepers and defensive lines playing pivotal roles throughout the afternoon.

Attention now shifts to the final, where Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC will battle for the Mozzart Bet Cup title on 14th May at Kwale Stadium.
