The County Government of Uasin Gishu has announced over 300 job opportunities in various departments.
Available jobs posted on the county’s official website indicate that they span across departments of Agriculture, finance, health services, public service management, and education as well as roads, transport and infrastructure.
Other departments with available job opportunities include the office of the Governor and ICT.
Available jobs in the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries include 19 vacancies for Assistant Agricultural Officer and 10 each for Animal Health Assistant, Assistant Livestock Production Officer, and Agricultural Officer.
In the Finance and Economic Planning Department, there is an opportunity for 16 accountants while the county plans to recruit 30 medical laboratory technologists.
There is also an advertisement for 20 registered clinical officers, 65 registered nurses, pharmaceutical technologists, radiographers and medical officers.
In the Public Service Management and Devolution Department, the County plans to recruit 20 enforcement officers, 15 support staff supervisors and 8 support staff.
Further, there is an opportunity for individuals interested and qualified to be ward administrators for Kapsaos, Moi’s Bridge, Tapsagoi, Kimumu, Kaptagat and Langas.
For those looking for driving jobs, the county has advertised two positions in the Department of Roads, Transport and Public Works.
To boost ECDE education, the Department will be looking to recruit 20 ECDE teachers and 25 assistant ECDE teachers.
