Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago was among a host of elected leaders that joined Deputy President William Ruto when he was officially receiving Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President, Nelson Havi, to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
DP Ruto received Havi at his Karen home in Nairobi on Monday.
In a video shared on Twitter by multiple media houses, Mandago is seen greeting the DP alongside Garissa Township Member of Parliament (MP) Aden Duale, before Havi is officially welcomed to the Hustler Nation.
The LSK president when being received was given a cap with UDA colors and a scarf.

Nelson Havi whose term as the LSK president is coming to an end has already declared that he will be vying for the Westlands Parliamentary seat in the coming general election.
The current Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi will be vying for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.

DP Ruto had invited 5 Cabinet Secretaries allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta to attend the meeting – raising eyebrows. Those invited were Ukuru Yattani (National Treasury), George Magoha (Education), Agriculture’s Peter Munya, James Macharia of Transport and Devolution CS Charles Keter, who attended.
