Safaricom has kicked off a 90-day online gaming challenge that will see customers compete on simple puzzles, arcades, and action games. Daily cash vouchers totalling Ksh500,000 and a Grand Prize of three Suzuki Altos are up for grabs.

The ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge will run from 16 November 2024 to 15 February 2025, with three daily winners of cash vouchers for 90 days. The grand prize will see one Suzuki Alto up for grabs every month for three months.

‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge: How to participate

To participate, customers can visit https://sc.wineazy.com, USSD *555#, or the MySafaricom app and sign up to Challenges Arena for Ksh10 daily.

Through the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, we aim to deliver an engaging gaming proposition that resonates with our youth customers, all while keeping them entertained on the go and offering them opportunities to win exciting rewards,” said Fawzia Ali, Chief Consumer Business Officer, Safaricom PLC.

Participants will accumulate points based on how they complete the skill-based games, and they will be able to track their rank through a publicly available leaderboard. At the end of the day, the top three players will win the daily prizes of Ksh3,000, Ksh2,000 and Ksh1,000 vouchers, while the top player at the end of every month will drive away in a brand-new Suzuki Alto.

Safaricom Hook Circle Praktiklz boot camp

The ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge was launched during the inaugural Safaricom Hook Circle Praktiklz boot camp at Nakuru Athletics Club, which provided the youth a platform to interact with mentors and experts from the music, art, fashion, dance, and gaming industries. The launch will also be followed by ‘Wai Ndai’ university, college and hotspot activations across the country.

Safaricom Hook Circle Praktiklz is part of a series of community engagement activities, including customer delights, dealer engagements, Grow with Safaricom business clinics, and free medical camps, as Safaricom celebrates 24 years since it began operations in Kenya, and also spreads the festive season cheer under the ‘Sambaza Furaha’ campaign.
