He said the peace was a result of prayers and peace-building efforts that many stakeholders were engaged in before the August 9 general election.

I want to congratulate Dr William Ruto for winning the presidency. As pastors and preachers, we prayed for peace that we all need, and we are happy that no blood was shed during this election,” said the Jesus is Love Ministries Bishop.

We now have a president-elect and I urge that he works with all. Those that won and those that lost so that the country remains united,” he added.

When he made a maiden speech as the President-elect on Monday, August 15, 2022, Dr Ruto pledged to work with all, and allow everyone to perform their roles for the country’s growth.
