The County Department of Health Services on Friday held an introductory meeting to welcome the new Health Executive and familiarization exercise of the County Health Management Team and the department’s programs and operations.
Speaking during the meeting at the County Commissioner’s boardroom, Dr Abraham Serem, emphasized the importance of being at the forefront in offering the best services to the residents by providing technical advice to service providers for continuous improvement in the healthcare sector.
“In addition to providing quality services let us network and sacrifice ourselves for the benefit of the residents because if we embrace collaboration and teamwork we will achieve positive health outcomes,” said Dr Serem.
He further urged the service providers to work together by enhancing synergy and collective effort in delivering healthcare services.
The CECM also highlighted the importance of aligning their efforts with Governor Bii’s agenda on health by aligning their goals and strategies with Governor Bii’s agenda for a unified approach towards improving healthcare in the county.
Chief Officers for Clinical Services Dr Joyce Sang and Dr Paul Wangwe for Promotive and Preventive Health noted that the introductory meeting with the County health management team highlights Dr Serem’s vision for the health sector pledging to offer him Maximum support and cooperation in the implementation of the health care services.
