Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) — a flagship pillar of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
Speaking during this year’s Maa Cultural and Tourism Festival, held at Amboseli National Park, Kajiado County and presided over by President Dr. William Ruto, the CS lauded the 5th Administration’s progress in bridging healthcare gaps through the Social Health Authority (SHA).

The CS, accompanied by Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, CEO of SHA, and Eng. Anthony Lenayara, CEO of the Digital Health Authority (DHA), highlighted the Government’s One Health Approach, which integrates financial and digital reforms to strengthen service delivery across the health sector.
He observed that the festival was not only a celebration of culture and heritage but also an important platform for public engagement and health outreach, including sensitisation on SHA registration, which guarantees every Kenyan access to affordable and quality healthcare.
The Cabinet Secretary also reiterated that the Government remains intentional and deliberate in transforming Kenya across all sectors, ensuring equitable access to essential services for all citizens.
