DPP, IPOA Dragged into Alleged Forgery of Eldoret Muslim Association Registration

An Eldoret Muslim leader has written to the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) over delays in investigating alleged fraud related to a Muslim Association.

Jamal Diriwo Omari has been pushing for officials of the Jamia Mosque Committee, Eldoret, to be held accountable for forging association’s registration certificate.

Omari argues that while the matter has been before the police since 2024, little or no progress has been made so far.

In a letter to DPP and IPOA, the Muslim leader wants action taken against officers handling the case.
