Eldo City Beat Rich FC in Uasin Gishu Branch League’s Marafiki Derby

Eldo City FC silenced their neighbors Rich FC 2-1 in a Uasin Gishu Branch League match played over the weekend.

Adeniro Ronny and Nguchi Wilson scored a goal each in the Marafiki Derby that was played at Pipeline Grounds on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Carzolla scored a consolation goal for the visitors.

The win lifts Eldo City FC to position 15 on the Uasin Gishu County League table with 16 points, the same as Sosiani FC who has a game in hand.

Rich FC remains rooted at the bottom three of the league with 12 points.

In other matches, league leaders Jua Kali FC whitewashed hosts Kimumu FC 8-0 while the University of Eldoret (UOE) narrowly won 1-0 against Kiluka FC.

Jua Kali FC is top of the Uasin Gishu Branch League with 35 points after playing 13 games. UOE is second with 32 points after 15 matches played while Kiluka FC is third with 31 points having played two games less than second-placed UOE.

Tiger FC, Jasho Youth FC, Rich FC, and Pioneer are the bottom four teams in the 23-team league.
