Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wisley Rotich has announced a comprehensive reorganization of his Cabinet.
The changes, effective immediately, were communicated through an official document dated 2nd December 2024.
In a letter seen by Uasin Gishu News, Rotich said the reorganization was executed under the powers conferred to him by Article 179 (2) (b) of the Constitution of Kenya and the provisions of sections 31 and 35 of the County Government Act, 2012.
Five dockets were affected.

Edwin Kibet Seroney moves from Agriculture, Livestock Fisheries and Irrigation to Public Service, Devolution, Administration, Communications, ICT, and E-governance while Michael Kibiwott transitions from Health Services to Sports, Youth Affairs, Culture, Children and Social Services.
Edwin Kibor has been reassigned from Education and Technical Training to Agriculture, Livestock Fisheries and Irrigation as Monica Rotich shifts from Public Service, Devolution, Administration, Communications, ICT, and E-governance to Health Services.

Thomas K. Maiyo remains in Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, and Urban Development while Purity J. Koima moves from Sports, Youth Affairs, Culture, Children and Social Services to Education and Technical Training.
Robert Kangogo will continue to serve in Cooperative, Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, and Wildlife as is the case with Alphaeus K Tanui who retains his position in Finance and Economic Planning.
In addition, Jason Lagat remains in the Water, Environment, and Climate Change docket while Emmy J. Kosgei continues in Roads, Public Works, and Transport.
The document detailing these changes was signed by Governor Wisley Rotich and is addressed to the County Secretary.
“The changes are effective immediately,” read part of the letter.
Governor Rotich emphasized that these changes were aimed at bolstering efficiency in service delivery.
