Uasin Gishu Woman Represented Gladys Boss has described Deputy President William Ruto as the most inspiring and hardworking leader among a pack of individuals that have so far expressed interest to vie for the presidency in the upcoming general election.
DP Ruto considered a front runner to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta has already hit the ground running in the hunt for votes, and the Woman Rep now says he is miles ahead of all the other aspirants by all aspects.
In a recent interview on Citizen TV, Gladys Boss said as it is now, only one candidate has a clear agenda for the country – that is DP Ruto.

She further noted that leaders allied to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) are no longer interested in what happens within the Jubilee party, as it has no plan yet.
“We don’t have time to talk about Jubilee. We have a candidate they don’t, we have a candidate with a track record they don’t, we have a political vehicle which is UDA the don’t; as they are still wondering if it will be One Kenya Alliance (OKA) OR Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).”
– Gladys Boss, Uasin Gishu Woman Rep.
The former Registrar of Judiciary further noted that DP Ruto has already outlined his development agenda to the people that his government will be focusing on, while his competitors are still discussing who their presidential candidate will be.

“We have a clear political vehicle and most importantly we have an agenda, an economic model and agenda for the health sector, creating jobs, creating wealth at the lowest level which is the majority so that we can assure more Kenyans have money in pocket and contribute to the tax base that will enable us not borrow.”
– Gladys Boss, Uasin Gishu Woman Representative.
Deputy President William Ruto has been holding up to 10 political meetings in a single day, spread across different areas, a display of energy that none of the politicians aspiring to vie for the top seat have been close to matching.
“DP Ruto does 10 stops on a bad day and can do more. He’s the most inspiring, hardworking leader. When others are sleeping he’s working and is focused on transforming the country.”
– Gladys Boss

Other leaders eying the presidency include former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua among others.
The 2022 race has however already been billed as a two-horse race between Ruto and Raila, who is yet to officially declare that he will be on the ballot.
