Huruma United Beat Talanta FC in Regional Football League

Huruma United silenced Talanta FC 2-0 during Regional Football League at Huruma grounds in Eldoret on Saturday.

James Bowen and Martin Miheso were on target for the visitors in an entertaining game.

The win follows Huruma United’s draw last weekend.

We played well today. Our training has helped. This was a must win game for us after last game’s draw,” said the Huruma United Captain Ian Oketch.

Talanta FC however blamed the referee for the loss.

Team Captain Jack Binge however expressed hope they will bounce back with a win in the next game.

The game was tough but also the centre referee had some controversial decisions made against us. We feel the refereeing was not fair,” Binge said.

Talanta FC will be facing Tambach FC from Elgeyo Marakwet County in their next game.

Winners for the Regional Football League will get promoted to play in Division Two League.
