Kinoti Celebrates DCI Marksmen After Good Show In International Rifle Shooting Competition

The Director General of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti, on Friday, August 19, 2022, celebrated DCI sleuths who lifted the country’s flag high in a recently held International Rifle Shooting Competition.

The sleuths were among a team of Kenya’s top shooters who exhibited exemplary performance during the 153rd Her Majesty Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Imperial meeting, held at Bisley, United Kingdom from June 23, to July, 23 2022.

Led by the team manager Alfred Njoka, the team comprising of Corporals Elphas Ngetich, Philip Kipchumba and DCI’s master of ceremonies Senior Sergeant Emmanuel Kalasinga, met the Director General who commended them for a job well done.

The four DCI sleuths who participated in the International rifle shooting competition.

The team brought home various medals including the National Rifle Association (NRA) Gold Medal for the Marjorie Krier aggregate category, NRA Gold Medal in the police Rifle category, a Gold medal in HPS Cross competition and an NRA Gold medal in the Falklands trophy category among other medals.

The Director General who was full of praise for the Marksmen noted that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) valued and appreciated the efforts put in place by every detective in the country, adding that their professionalism had given the Directorate a human face and earned the institution recognition across the world.

He assured every officer in the Directorate of his full support in the discharge of their duties.
