List: Team Kenya For The Upcoming World Athletics Championships In Budapest

The Athletics Kenya (AK) earlier this week released a full list of athletes that will be representing the country in the upcoming World Athletics Championships.

The championships will be held in Budapest, Hungary later in August.

A list of the team Kenya was unveiled following conclusion of the national trials.

Leading the team is Africa’s fastest man in 100 metres Ferdinand Omanyala and double world record holder in 1,500m and 5,000m races Faith Kipyegon.

Other notable names include Emanuel Korir and Emmanuel Wanyonyi in 800m men race as well as Olympic Champion Mary Moraa.

Timothy Cheruiyot (1,500m men), Beatrice Chepkoech (3,000m women) and Abraham Kibiwott (3,000m steeple chase) are also in the star-studded team.
