Hundreds of locals turned up for the Eldoret mega rally that was organized for Deputy President William Ruto.
The rally was aimed at giving the DP blessings and officially handing him over to Kenyans, as he seeks to be the country’s fifth President.
Eldoret Sports Club, the venue for the mega rally was packed to capacity, as Kenyans of all walks came up to listen to leaders allied to the Hustler Nation.
Over 100 legislators allied to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) attended the Eldoret mega rally.
The venue for the event was already packed as early as 8 am, as locals in the North Rift and neighboring regions streamed in.

It was all pomp and color as the DP and his convoy snaked their way into the Eldoret Sports Club.
The DP first passed through Eldoret town, where hundreds of locals had lined up to welcome him.
At the Eldoret Sports Club when the speeches began, speaker after speaker praised Ruto’s ability to take Kenya to the next level.
The DP intends to implement the bottom-up economic model if elected the next Head of State.
Many of the politicians who spoke at the event said, bottom-up was the only model that would help revive the country’s economy.
“William Ruto has a plan for this country, those competing against him have nothing to offer. We have Bottom Up, but what the others have is only vitendawili,” said Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa.
Political leaders in the North Rift said the rally was to be used as the official launch of the DPs presidential bid.
