2023/2024 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women Premier League season is scheduled to kick off this weekend.
Newly promoted sides Bungoma Queens and Kibera Girls Soccer will lock horns in the league’s opener at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County.
In other matches, Vihiga Queens who changed their home matches from Mumias Stadium to Moi Stadium Kisumu will seek to avenge 2-0 loss they suffered last weekend to Ulinzi.
Elsewhere, last season’s runners up Gaspo host Bunyore at Stima Members Club while at Ndura Sports Complex in Trans Nzoia County, Falcons will play Zetech Sparks.
At ASK Nakuru, Wadadia will play hosts Nakuru city Queens.
Other newbies in the FKF Women League Madira Soccer Assassins together Police Bullets are relieved of weekend matches.
This is due to commitments around the under 20 World Cup qualifiers taking place this Sunday.
Police Bullets head coach who also doubles up as both Harambee Starlets and Harambee Starlets U20 squad Head Coach will be on duty as Kenya battle Angola in the first round of world cup qualifiers.
The game will be played at Nyayo stadium on Sunday.
A number of Madira Assassin’s first team players will be donning the national team attire against the South West Africa team.
