Upper Rift Women League Weekend Fixtures: Huruma Starlets At Home, ESPODEC Not In Action

The race for the FKF Upper Rift Women Regional League title continues this weekend with four matches scheduled to be played.

10 teams from across the region are battling for the title that will eventually see the champion get promotion to the FKF Women Division One Zone B league.

In matches that will be played this Saturday, Huruma Starlets will be hosting Kapsabet Starlets at Huruma Grounds from 2.00 PM as Osorongai Falcons face off with Chepsaita Queens at Osorongai Grounds.

Kick off for the first Osorongai game has been set for 11.00 am, before they return for a second game at 2.00 PM against Lower Kipkaren Starlets in the same venue.

Further, Kimolwe Primary School Grounds will host the last game for Saturday as Kimolwe Falcons will be hosting Chekalini Combined.

On Sunday, Kapseret Starlets will be hosts to Wayne Starlets at St Joseph’s Secondary School Grounds.

Among the promotion-chasing teams are ESPODEC Starlets who do not have a game this weekend.

They however have two matches scheduled for next weekend.

The Langas-based team will be away at Osorongai Grounds next Sunday where they will face off with hosts Osorongai Falcons from 10.00 am before returning to the same venue later in the afternoon with a clash against Kimwolet Starlets.

ESPODEC coach Maurice Kamau hopes his team will maintain last week’s winning streak that saw them edge out Kapseret Queens 2-1.
