Transport for learners at Mkombozi Secondary School in Tulwet/Chuiyat ward, Kesses Sub County is set to be improved after the acquisition of a new school bus.
Kesses Member of Parliament CPA Julius Ruto on Monday, February 27, 2023, joined parents, teachers, students and residents in handing over the ceremony for the new bus.
Sharing photos of the ceremony on his Facebook page, the legislator said the bus will come as a boost in transport – not only in but also outside the school.
“This morning I joined parents, teachers, area residents and students of Mkombozi Secondary School in Tulwet Chuiyat Ward during the handing over ceremony of a brand new school bus to the school.”
“The availability of this bus at the institution will ease the school activities through transport facilitation in and outside the school thus bringing educational comfort amongst the students,” said CPA Ruto.
Further, the legislator said he used the opportunity to encourage the students to work hard while at school.
He pointed out that it is through education that they are able to secure their future and have a successful life.
