According to RMS management, they are still investigating the incident. It says it had engaged a private food catering company to provide meals for staff working during the Christmas shift – food that is suspected to be the cause of the incident that affected a significant number of their staff.

“On Boxing Day December 26 2022, some of the staff complained of severe stomach pains after consuming meals served within the premises of the company,” noted the statement.
Royal Media Services is one of the largest media houses in Kenya. It is home to some of the most popular television and radio channels.
