Are you in Eldoret town and looking for a place where you will count down as 2022 ends and 2023 begins?
There are a variety of places and events that you can consider being for the crossover.
Here are some of them:
Eldoret Sports Club – Churchill Show
This is arguably the biggest crossover event happening today in Eldoret.
The Eldoret Sports Club, just five minutes drive from Eldoret town centre, is hosting the famous Churchill Show.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim early announced that he will be joining the Churchill Show team for the event.
Popular gospel musicians Emmy Kosgey and Solomo Mkubwa will also perform.

Tickets have been on sale for between Ksh1,000 and Ksh2,000 depending on the weight of your wallet.
Highlands Mall – Bila Compromise Crossover Concert
Incase you find Eldoret Sports Club too far from where you are, or too expensive for you, there’s a cheaper option for the event going down at the Highlands Mall, on the West side of Eldoret town.

This event is a concert that will be graced by a host of homegrown musicians lead by BaMdogo.
Entry is Ksh350.
Poa Place – Kass Night
Poa Place will be hosting Kass Night for the crossover. If you love listening to Kalenjin music and want to get a full taste of it, then this is your place to be.
Kapkoma Lady and Sweetstar are among artists line up to perform.
You’ll pay Ksh500 to access the venue.

But just in case you’re not into such events, then there’s the option of being at church.
Churches usually host crossover events on new year Eve.
Some of the churches to pick from include AIC Fellowship opposite the KMTC Eldoret Campus, along MTRH road, ACK St Mathews Cathedral and Sacred Heart Cathedral just next to Zion Mall.
For those that prefer clubs, there are many of them that you can pick from – starting with Tamasha, TMT, Belasco Lounge, Black Nectar Lounge, Club Timber and the list is endless.
Whatever you pick depending on your preference, keep safe.
Happy New Year 2023.
