/

The County Government of Uasin Gishu has affirmed its commitment to assisting residents living in areas prone to flooding.

And amid ongoing heavy rainfall pounding several parts of the county, Engineers from the Department of Roads, Transport and Public Works have started taking measures to open blocked drainage lines in slopes and shallow land.

The move is meant to help channel flooding water to access streams and rivers so as to avert damage to property in residential areas.
