Saboti Constituency Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has celebrated Infotrak’s latest opinion poll that placed him in the 10th position nationally for the best-performing MPs.
In a Facebook post seen by Uasin Gishu News, Amisi said the ranking demonstrates the confidence of the people of Saboti in him.
He also termed the top ten ranking as a great achievement worth celebrating.
Amisi scored an average of 60%.
“Being ranked #1 in Trans Nzoia County, 4th among the best-performing MPs in the entire Western Corridor, and 10th nationally out of 290 MPs is no small achievement,” he posted.
The second-term legislator said he would have performed better had the Kenya Kwanza regime led by President William Ruto not sidelined his Constituency in terms of development.
“This is especially true for an opposition member like myself, who has been outrightly denied government projects by the Ruto administration due to my unwavering principles,” the ODM legislator noted.
“I can only say thank you to God and extend my heartfelt gratitude to the great and wonderful people of Saboti for consistently supporting me in realizing the vision of developing our Constituency,” he added.
Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino with an overall score of 72% emerged the best lawmamer followed by Kiharu’s Ndindi Nyoro with 71%.
Majimbo Kalasinga (Kabuchai), Robert Mbui (Kathiani) Gathoni Wamuchomba (Githunguri) and John Waluke (Sirisia) tied at position three with 61%.
