Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has called upon his 2022 opponents to join hands with his government in order to develop the County.
The governor said it is time for each politician who competed against him to accept a reality that he is the one who was elected by landslide and formed the government.
“There is need for opposition to come and work with me to make us all transform our county,” said Natembeya.
The governor made the sentiments on Friday during a prayer and thanksgiving ceremony at ASK Showgrounds in Kitale.

In a an interdenominational prayer service that brought together both religious, political and business communities, Governor Natembeya urged church leaders to pray for the county to realize firmness in standing together.
His Mbegu initiative program which has boosted farming in the area, the governor reiterated, will continue next year.
He pledged that more funds will be allocated for the program in next financial year for farmers to realize improvement and enhance food security.
The County Boss also promised to open up cultural centers to the people of Trans Nzoia adding that this will enable the elders from various communities to practice and share their culture.
Natembeya also promised to expand and renovate the rehabilitation center in Kwanza to foster to accommodate prisoners and recover drug addicts in the county.
Present were former Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati, Natembeya’s deputy Philomena Kapkory, First Lady Lillian Natembeya, Trans Nzoia County Assembly Deputy Speaker Obed Mwale and several MCAs.
Members of Trans Nzoia executive led by County secretary Truphosa Amere were also present.
