Trans Nzoia County Opens Supplier Registration for 2026-2028 Financial Years

The County Government of Trans Nzoia has invited interested and eligible suppliers, contractors, and service providers to apply for registration for the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 financial years.

In a public notice issued by the Department of Finance and Economic Planning, the county said the registration exercise targets firms seeking to do business with the county government over the next two financial years.

The County Government of Trans Nzoia invites interested and eligible candidate to apply for registration as suppliers/contractors/service providers for period 2026/2027 and 2027/2028,” the notice read.

Prospective candidates can access tender documents free of charge from two sources:

  • Public Procurement Portal: http://www.tender.go.ke

Applicants must meet all requirements as stipulated in the registration document and attach copies of relevant supporting documents to qualify.

The county urged bidders to ensure they submit complete applications to be considered for the supplier database.

However, the notice did not specify a closing date for the registration. Suppliers are advised to check the county website and the public procurement portal regularly for updates and the full list of tender categories open for registration.

The registration is part of the county’s efforts to build a credible database of service providers to support service delivery in line with public procurement laws.
