Former Moiben Constituency Manager David Kiprop Kitur has died.
Kitur served as a constituency manager during the reign of Silas Tiren as a Member of Parliament.
His death was announced on Saturday, February 28, 2026, by the former MP.

While sharing his message of condolence, Tiren described the late Kitur as a man who exemplified what it means to be not only a remarkable professional but also “a truly caring and supportive friend to many individuals who were fortunate enough to know him“.
“His commitment to the principles of public service and his unwavering support for our constituents were nothing short of inspiring and transformative,” he added.
The former MP also noted that Kitur’s impactful work and compassionate nature will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

He noted that the late’s ability to connect with people, to listen, and to provide genuine assistance made a significant difference in countless lives.
“He brought warmth, understanding, and dedication into every interaction, and his legacy of kindness will continue to resonate within our community for years to come,” Tiren said.
“Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are extended to Keino’s (Kap Cheptenguun) family, friends, and all those who were touched by his kindness, generosity, and dedication. The universe has lost a brilliant light, and we will carry his memory in our hearts,” he added.
