Politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto continue to condemn a Thursday evening incident in which digital strategist Dennis Itumbi was allegedly abducted and tortured.
Itumbi was abducted while coming from a barbershop and was found about 6 hours later in Kasarani area – with both his legs and left hand fractured.
It is not yet clear who the abductors were, and why he was abducted, but DP Ruto allies have linked the incident to Dennis Itumbi’s association with the second in command.

A number of politicians from the North Rift region took to social media to condemn the incident, with some accusing police of being behind it.
But police spokesperson Bruno Shioso has since said they are investigating circumstances surrounding the incident.
