Deputy President William Ruto is this week scheduled to hold at least 40 meetings and political rallies spread across various counties in Rift Valley and Western Kenya.
An itinerary for the DPs events this week, seen by Uasin Gishu News, indicates that he has one of the rallies scheduled for Eldoret town.
The rally in his hometown is scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 2021.
This confirms the previous announcement by Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi of ‘a big Hustler Nation Rally’ that he said was planned for Eldoret town.
Sudi made the announcement on his official Facebook page and said all were welcomed for the rally.
Aside from the Eldoret rally, DP Ruto is also scheduled to hold numerous meetings in Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Kakamega, West Pokot, Kericho, and Bomet counties.
The Trans Nzoia meetings start Monday, January 3, 2022, with 5 planned events, one in each of the Sub Counties of Cherangany, Kwanza, Saboti, Kiminini, and Endebes.
On Tuesday, the second in command will hold 8 meetings, four each in Kakamega and Bungoma counties, before holding two more meetings in Kakamega, and 6 in Busia counties on Wednesday.
Thursday will see Ruto take his Bottom Up agenda to West Pokot and Elgeyo Marakwet before the Eldoret rally on Saturday.
