Police officers from Kapsoya Police Station in Ainabkoi Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County have arrested a suspect in a robbery with violence case.
According to the National Police Service, the suspect arrested on Friday, September 25, 2026, is believed to be affiliated with a criminal gang known as Brothers 13 (B13).
The suspect, NPS said, was apprehended at the Roadblock area in Eldoret, following actionable intelligence and timely tip-offs from members of the public.
“He is linked to a series of violent robberies that have recently plagued residents of the Munyaka area,” the police said in part of their statement.
During the arrest, the officers recovered a suspected stolen laptop and three mobile phones.
Additionally, the suspect was found in possession of an assortment of crude weapons.
The suspect was escorted to Kapsoya Police Station, where he is currently being held awaiting arraignment, while the recovered items and crude weapons are also being kept at the same station as exhibits.
Meanwhile, the National Police Service appreciated members of the public for their continued collaboration.
