Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (ELDOWAS) has announced a significant upgrade to the water pipeline system in the Maili Nne area.
The “Maili Nne Water Pipeline Improvement Project” is set to enhance water service delivery, ensuring better water pressure and reliability for residents.
In a public notice, ELDOWAS urged residents to cooperate by moving their water meters towards the gate adjacent to the water line by November 29th, 2024.
“This will allow our technicians to access and maintain your meter efficiently,” stated Dr. Lawrence Tanui, Managing Director of ELDOWAS.

The notice also advised residents to ensure their water bills are up-to-date to avoid any service interruptions during the project.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and will strive to minimize disruptions as much as possible,” Dr. Tanui added.
In addition, residents within Maili Nne area who depend on ELDOWAS water have been encouraged to store adequate water as temporary disruptions, including reduced pressure, are expected during the project period.
Eldowas is a public company fully owned by the County Government of Uasin Gishu.

It supplies water and offer sewerage services to customers within Eldoret City.
