Elgeyo Marakwet Shortlists Candidates for CECMs Interviews (Full List)

The County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet has published the names of shortlisted candidates for various positions of the County Executive Committee Members (CECMs).

About a fortnight ago, the county advertised for the 10 CECM positions and invited interested candidates to apply.

With the lapse of the application dateline, the county has now announced shortlisted candidates who have been invited for interviews.

The interviews will be conducted between the 5th and 8th of October 2022.

Two panels have been set up to conduct the interviews concurrently.

“The interviews will be conducted at the Governor’s Boardroom and Iten Municipality Boardroom. Shortlisted candidates are required to arrive at the interview venue at least thirty (30) minutes earlier than the scheduled time for directions,” the county said in a post on its verified Facebook page while sharing list of the shortlisted candidates.

First shortlisted candidates to appear before the panel are those that applied for the position of CECM Health Services and Public Service.

11 have been shortlisted for the Health CECM docket, while 10 are seeking to be the next Public Service boss that also covers Devolution, ICT, Administration and E-Government.

Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development Department has six shortlisted candidates while Roads, Public Works and Transport has 9.

  • Cooperatives, Trade, Industrialization and Wildlife – 15 shortlisted candidates.
  • Sports, Youth Affairs, Culture, Children and Social Services – 13 shortlisted candidates.
  • Water, Environment and Climate Change – 12 shortlisted candidates.
  • Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation – 14 shortlisted candidates.
  • Education and Technical Training – 12 shortlisted candidates.
  • Finance and Economic Planning – 12 shortlisted candidates.
