Espodec Move Top of Regional Women’s League Table After Weekend Win

Espodec-Muhoroni Starlets returned to the top of the FKF Upper Rift Regional Women’s League table following weekend fixtures.

The Langas-based side hosted Eldoret Angles on Saturday in a game played at Eldoret Premier School grounds.

They secured a well-deserved 2-0 win courtesy of goals scored by Ynah Cheptoo who had a brace.

The Saturday win follows up on six points that the Maurice Kamau-coached side secured last weekend.

In other matches, Kipkaren Starlets silenced Flyway Queens 3-0 before getting a walk over against Ndabarnach Queens who failed to show up for their game.

Elsewhere, Flyway Queens made amends from losing to Kipkaren Starlets by beating their hosts Kapseret Queens 1-0.

In games played on Sunday, Boma Queens beat Terik Foundation 2-0 while Delegebet narrowly lost 2-1 to Huruma Queens.

Espodec-Muhoroni Starlets is seeking promotion, after narrowly missing out last season.

Top two teams at the end of the season will be promoted to the FKF Women Division One League.
