Independent Kapseret Member of Parliament candidate Frank Murgor has conceded defeat.
Murgor was among the candidates that were considered would have given incumbent MP Oscar Sudi a run for his money.
But even with official results yet to be released, the independent candidate has thrown in the towel, congratulating his competitor Oscar Sudi for a win.

“I want to officially concede to Hon. Sudi! Congratulations for your win!” he posted on his official Facebook page.
Frank Murgor was among three other candidates that were in the race including former Simat/Kapseret Member of County Assembly (MCA) Pauline Tuwei.
“Kapseret Constituency! We fought very hard to liberate our constituency, we worked hard to better the lives of our people, we gave it all we could, but the people decided!” noted the independent candidate.
Oscar Sudi set for re-election
And even as he concedes defeat and congratulates the winner, Murgor, who campaigned using the tag ‘DAWA’ is hoping the re-elected MP Oscar Sudi will work towards addressing issues facing the common mwananchi.

“I hope you’ll get to work for the people this time, I hope our young people will get employment opportunities. Please work for the great people of Kapseret,” he said.
“As for me and my team, I want thank you all for the hardwork, the determination and the courage to fight for change in our constituency! Your efforts will not go unnoticed. We will live to fight another day!,” Murgor added.
With his main rival conceding defeat, Oscar Sudi is now poised to win a third term.
He was first elected in 2013 on a United Republican Party (URP) ticket before winning re-election in 2017 on a Jubilee ticket.
Oscar Sudi is one of the key allies of Deputy President William Ruto.
