New Fuel Prices in Major Kenyan Towns after EPRA’s June Review

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) on Sunday, June 14, 2026, announced new fuel prices that will be in force for the next 30 days.

In the review, the price of super petrol had a slight drop, with diesel-vehicle owners the biggest winners after a Ksh 10 per litre reduction. Kerosene prices remain unchanged.

“In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol and Diesel decrease by KSh 0.22/litre and KSh 10.00/litre respectively, while the price of Kerosene remains unchanged,” EPRA said in a statement.

The new prices, EPRA said, are inclusive of the Value Added Tax (VAT), in line with the VAT Act, 2013, as read with Legal Notice No. 70 dated 15th April 2026, the Finance Act, 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.

What are the new fuel prices in Nairobi?

With the latest review, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene now retail at Kshs.214.03, Ksh 222.86 and Ksh 191.38 in Nairobi, effective midnight for the next 30 days.

In Mombasa, a litre of super petrol will retail at a maximum of Ksh 210.87 while diesel will be at Ksh 219.58. Kerosine remains at Kshm 188.09.

A litre of petrol retails at Ksh 212.9 in Nakuru, KSh 222.27 for diesel and Ksh 190.81 for kerosene, while a litre of super petrol in Eldoret will retail for a maximum of Ksh 213.69 in Eldoret. A litre of diesel will now be 223.29, while kerosene price remains at Ksh 191.63 in the city of champions.

Fuel prices in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet county, have been set at Ksh 213.69, Ksh 223.09 and Ksh 191.63 for super petrol, diesel, and kerosene, respectively.

In Kitale Town, super petrol prices will be Ksh 213.94 per litre, Ksh 223.36 for diesel and Ksh 191.90 for kerosene.
