At least seven areas in Uasin Gishu County will experience interruption of power supply on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Kenya Power in a notice to its customers said the power interruption is due to a scheduled maintenance.
Some of the areas that will witness interruption in power include Soy, Chemoset and Kabobo from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M.
Others are Soy, Likuyani, Ivugwi, Sango, Lugulu, KOFC Water Intake, Lumino, Roberts and adjacent customers.
Kenya Power customers around CMC Motors, ODM Estate, Ram Garage, Panvilla, Moi University Hostels will also be without power from 10.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M.
Meanwhile, Nangili, Kongoni, Soysambu, Furfural, Chemororoch, Kipsomba, Tarakwa, Kisagame and adjacent customers will also face power Interruption from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
In Nairobi, areas set to be affected are Gikomba, Kariokor Flats, Kariokor DC, Part of Starehe Boys Centre, Kombo Munyiri, Hombe Rd, Don Bosco Eastleigh, Ushirika Fupi/Refu, Jam Street, Part of Muratina Rd and adjacent customers.
It will also be the same case for Nairobi Water Eastleigh, Part of Section III, Mother & Child Hosp, Madina Mall, Yare Mall, Part of First Ave, California, Pumwani Hosp and adjacent customers.
Kenya Power conducts regular maintenance on its lines across the country.
The maintenance is aimed at enhancing services to their customers.
A notice is always issues whenever the exercise will cause power Interruption for a long period.
