KMTC Student Lights up The Internet as She Dances to Sick Child in Hospital

A Kitale Campus Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) nursing student has become an internet sensation after a video of her dancing to a sick child went viral.

The student shared a video in which she is seen dancing to the popular children’s song ‘Baby Shark’ – seemingly entertaining a sick child.

Impressed is the child that at some point tries to join the dance – all smiles.

It is a video that has widely been shared on various social media platforms, with netizens praising her.

First to share the video on Twitter was Dr Rowena Njeri, a health systems activist.

Starting this week with such positive vibes! If you know her say hi to her, thank her for bringing such joy to this little child. May her doors in this career open wider and further,” Dr Njeri tweeted while sharing the video.

Watching this countless times….. Very heartwarming. A little child confined to a hospital bed, worried and feeling lonely…… Nurse Lukresia Robai walked into the ward and started dancing to Baby Shark, putting a smile on the patient’s face,” added another user Solomon Kuria.

So viral has the video been that it has also caught the attention of Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.

Natembeya speaks after the swearing-in of the CECMs.

In a tweet, the county boss hailed the nurse, whom he revealed to be named Elizabeth Robai Lukelesia.

The Kitale Campus KMTC student had originally shared the video on her Tiktok account – @lukreslarobai which has over 78,000 followers.
