Let DP Ruto’s Eldoret Rally Promote Integration, Not Division

Preparations for what has been tagged as a mega Eldoret rally is on final touches.

Political leaders in the North Rift region have has organized a UDA meeting for Deputy President William Ruto.

The meeting will be used to give blessings to the DP as he goes out on a vote-hunting mission for the presidency.

Leaders in the region are also expected to use the Eldoret rally to air out their grievances on what they hope a Ruto presidency will address.

Locals during William Ruto’s tour to Kisumu.

Many visitors are expected to join the rally regardless of their political stand.

I am hoping that the Eldoret rally will be peaceful, full of harmony and unity.

Residents from different areas of this county are expected to attend in large numbers. It has been estimated that at least 50,000 people will attend.

Supporters within and beyond Uasin Gishu county will be present from different races, places, and tribes. Treat each one as brothers and sisters. Avoid discrimination before, during, and after that rally.

I pray to the Almighty that the outcome of the rally will be welcoming and of positive impact.

Ensure you benefit from such occasions rather than causing chaos and disruptions. One love, one Kenya, one people.

As you join the rest of the people on that occasion, remember to observe the Ministry of Health’s measures and protocols and take care of your pockets and property from theft.
