The meeting comes at a time Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has intensified his bid to popularise the Tawe Movement across Western Kenya counties.

Natembeya is seeking to topple Wetang’ula and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi in the control of the Luhya community.
