Police officers in Cherang’any Constituency, Trans Nzoia County are investigating an incident where an unknown woman aborted and dumped an eight-month-old foetus at Tuigoin Boda Boda stage.
Confirming the incident, Kibuswo Sub Location Assistant Chief, Gilbert Chepsiror said the lady who is yet to be identified committed the act on the night of Tuesday November 11, 2025 and vanished.
“I received a call from Tuigoin center village manager that a lifeless foetus had been discovered at a Boda Boda stage. I rushed there and established that indeed a baby had been dumped by an unknown person,” Chepsiror told Uasin Gishu News.
The administrator stated that preliminary investigations indicate that either Cherang’any Technical Training Institute student or a female bar attendant committed the heinous act.

“Currently, Tuigoin center has very many people including students, vegetables sellers. The investigations will help us nab the suspect and as soon as we arrest her, she will face charges of murder. Abortion is murder and even the Bible does allow,” he added.
The assistant chief also urged all women especially youths who have accidentally or deliberately been impregnated to avoid abortion because it is a criminal offence and they are also risking their lives.
“I advise our girls to shun abortion. If you get pregnant, please take care of your pregnancy until the day you deliver. You should know that not all women are blessed to get pregnant,” he urged.
The body has been taken to Wamalwa Kijana Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
