Other members of the taskforce are Rev. Elijah Yego, Dr. Bernard Kiplimo Lagat, Dr. Philemon Bureti, CPA Alfred Lagat, Steven Rotich, Dr. Ruth Choge and Wilson Kipkogei Lelmengit.
Further, the secretariat to the taskforce will be composed of Godfrey Sang, Kibet Gim Awi and Maureen Chepngetich.

It will work closely with the County Governments of Bomet and Kericho.
Tea farming is largely practised within the three counties and has a heavy presence of the multinationals who own huge tracks on land on lease basis.
The appointment of the taskforce takes effect from October 31, 2022, and will be for a period of three months (90 days).
