All learners in day secondary schools within Kapseret Constituency will not pay anything.
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has announced that he will cover the payment of tuition fees for the learners.
Sudi said the cost will be covered by the Kapseret National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).
The initiative also includes a lunch programme.

This means a learner in a day school within the constituency will not be required to pay anything.
The free lunch programme also covers all day primary schools.
As part of implementing the free lunch in day schools in the constituency, Sudi announced the start of distributing the food required.
Gitwe Primary School and St. Joseph Secondary are among the schools that received the food on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
“Proper nutrition boosts concentration and performance, reduces absenteeism, and supports overall growth and development among students,” the MP said.

Sudi now joins a list of MPs who have implemented a free secondary school day education led by Kiharu’s Ndindi Nyoro.
Moiben MP Prof Phyllis Bartoo is also implementing a lunch programme that supports vulnerable learners.
The initiative dubbed Food for Education is aimed at ensuring learners remain in the classroom despite their family background.
