PSC Appoints 8,610 Candidates under Public Service Internship Programme Cohort VI

The Public Service Commission has appointed a total of 8, 610 interns to join the public service under the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) Cohort VI.

Successful interns will be deployed in different Ministries, State Departments, Corporations and Public Universities for a period of 12 months.

Further, the interns will work under PSC trained mentors and coaches, who will be responsible for guiding and nurturing them throughout and even after the internship period.

According to PSC, The list of the appointed candidates is available on the commission website.

Candidates can also check the status of their applications via the PSC job portal,” the commission said in a statement on January 2, 2024.

In addition, PSC said communication regarding deployments and reporting dates will be directly communicated to appointed candidates in the next few weeks.

The Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) is a Government initiative designed to offer opportunity for graduates to acquire and develop valuable technical and professional skills as well as work experience in the Public Service.
