What eye witnesses said
The police reports were also corroborated by an eye witness who said the accident would have been avoided if there was no potholes on the busy road.
“These people were heading to Maili Nane for their daily errands. While we condemn the accident, we want to ask the government through the relevant authorities to consider fixing these potholes as a matter of urgency so that we do not lose more lives through road accidents,” the eyewitness said.
Meanwhile, the Cherang’any Sub-County Police Commander has urged drivers and riders to exercise caution while driving or riding during the festive season.
