We Received Warm Reception, Only That Few Crooks of ODM Decided To Hire Goons in Kondele – Oscar Sudi

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has blamed ‘a few crooks’ of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for violent incidences witnessed during Deputy President William Ruto’s visit to Kondele, in Kisumu.

A convoy of the DP that was in Kisumu county to drum up support for his Bottoms Up economic model was pelted with stones by rowdy youths, forcing police officers to lobe teargas to disperse them.

The incident forced Ruto to cut short his speech.

Reacting to the chaos that rocked the tour, Sudi claimed they were organized a Member of Parliament and two Members of County Assembly (MCAs) which he did not name.

The vocal legislator further noted that they generally received a warm reception in the county that is considered a stronghold of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

“Thank you Kisumu Dala. May the almighty God bless the great people of this county. We received a warm reception and overwhelming support of up to 80% rating. Only that a few crooks of ODM decided to hire goons in Kondele. One MP and two MCAs paid a few goons to stone us but all is well. Kisumu ni Hustler. Asanteni sana. Erôô kamano.”
